The Consultation
A NUTRITION PROGRAMME will be designed specifically for you, this will look in detail at your health, while taking into account your genetic and family history, this may be vitally important for your future health and vitality.
Biochemical imbalances may be assessed, such as vitamin and mineral deficiencies, hormonal dysfunction, food sensitivities and underlying parasitic and fungal infections.
The underlying causes leading to weight gain, water retention, loss of energy, cravings, bloating, headaches, memory loss, bowel disturbances, joint pain, depression and infertility, and other chronic health problems can be assessed.
- WHAT HAPPENS at a Nutrition Consultation? Firstly, you fill in a Health Questionnaire, which gives background information on your health, your family history of illness, childhood diseases, which gives you a clear picture of you and your individual health needs. The dietary changes are designed around your likes and dislikes so you have a diet that you can enjoy.
- AT THE FIRST VISIT we will go over your health history and look at your diet; symptoms will be assessed and biochemical tests and nutritional supplements may be recommended, as appropriate, in addition to individual dietary and lifestyle changes. You will receive a summary of the visit with appropriate Handouts and email support. PRICE £80
- REVISITS are to update your progress, make any changes, discuss test results and produce a supplement programme. Generally, most people will need at least 2 visits, these are usually 4 to 6 weeks apart. PRICE £50
- HOME VISITS can be arranged in special circumstances. STANDARD FEE + TRAVEL
- TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS may be arranged for follow-up appointments.
- HEALTH M.O.T. This can be used as a one-off health check or as an annual holistic health check up. This may include a supplement programme or a check on current supplements, assessment of food intolerances, full laboratory profile tests for heart disease risk; anti-aging profile assessment, menopause profile, osteoporosis risk monitoring, or other relevant screens. This will include 2 appointments and a written report. £100 + cost of tests
